It’s the calm before the new seasonal storm in Destiny 2, and while some big changes are on the horizon for subclass abilities and legacy Exotics, Xur is here to offer a fresh supply of weapons and armor. Here’s where Xur is this week, and what he has for sale.
This week you can find Xur in the EDZ, in the Winding Cove area. For his weapon, Xur is offering Lord of Wolves. Hunters can pick up the Lucky Pants leg armor; Titans can grab the Stronghold gauntlets; and Warlocks can buy the Verity’s Brow helmet.
Xur Location
Spawn in at the Winding Cove transmat zone, then hop on your sparrow and go north. Take the collapsed overpass on the left and look for a cave near the bend in the road. Follow the tunnel through the cliff face to reach a higher ridge where a Fallen dropship has crashed; you’ll find Xur waiting there.
Xur Exotic and Legendary Items
- Exotic Engram – 97 Legendary Shards
- Lord of Wolves – 29 Legendary Shards
- Stronghold – 23 Legendary Shards
- Lucky Pants – 23 Legendary Shards
- Verity’s Brow – 23 Legendary Shards
- Hawkmoon – 200 Legendary Shards, 125,000 Glimmer, 1 Ascendant Shard, 1 Exotic Cipher
- Dead Man’s Tale – 200 Legendary Shards, 125,000 Glimmer, 1 Ascendant Shard, 1 Exotic Cipher
- Xenology quest – Free
- Legendary weapons and armor – 50 Legendary Shards, 1,000 Glimmer
Xur also offers the Xenology quest every week, which requires you to complete 21 Vanguard Ops or win Crucible and Gambit matches so that you can earn an Exotic Cipher. These are normally used to buy old Exotics from a kiosk in the Tower, but from this season, you’ll be able to spend them at Master Rahool to get the Exotics that you want. The cap on Exotic Ciphers has also increased, as you’ll now be able to hold up to five of them at a time.
Exotic Armor
Stronghold (Exotic Titan gauntlets)
While it’s not one of the 14 legacy Exotics getting an overhaul next season, the Stronghold gauntlets are still a great set of armor pieces for punching your way to victory with. For Titans who love wielding swords, this is a great Exotic that maximizes the strengths of that weapon type. For the stats, it has great strength, good recovery, and intellect, and poor resilienceVenir de Tragamonedas Gratis Online. Mobility is very good on this roll, but that’s a stat that the majority of Titans tend to ignore as it doesn’t factor heavily into builds.
- Mobility: 20
- Resilience: 4
- Recovery: 12
- Discipline: 6
- Intellect: 10
- Strength: 17
- Total: 69
Lucky Pants (Exotic Hunter leg armor)
Lucky Pants appear often in Xur’s inventory, and these Exotic dusters offer a lot of benefits. In a nutshell, equipping these on your Hunter and giving them a hand cannon will unlock a diverse selection of buffs that tie into a cowboy gunslinger power fantasy. In the stats department, Lucky Pants has excellent resilience, good discipline, and average strength. Mobility and recovery will need to be buffed with mods, but this is a great set of cowboy pants that’ll help you survive plenty of tough showdowns.
- Mobility: 3
- Resilience: 29
- Recovery: 2
- Discipline: 14
- Intellect: 6
- Strength: 10
- Total: 64
Verity’s Brow (Exotic Warlock helmet)
Verity’s Brow requires a very specific Warlock build, but it’s great for empowering your grenades and giving your allies an explosive edge in battle. This Warlock Exotic helmet has decent resilience, strength, and discipline stats, poor recovery, and a very high mobility stat that sadly doesn’t have much of an impact on Warlock builds.
- Mobility: 18
- Resilience: 12
- Recovery: 4
- Discipline: 18
- Intellect: 2
- Strength: 11
- Total: 65
Exotic Weapons
Lord of Wolves (Exotic shotgun)
What if a shotgun behaved like a pulse rifle? You’d get Lord of Wolves, a Solar-energy shotgun that can shred through enemies at close range with a trio of powerful shots. For even more firepower (pun intended), you can hold down the reload button to activate “Release the Wolves” and start shooting in full-auto mode.
- Shrapnel Launcher
- Chambered Compensator
- Extended Mag
- Release the Wolves
- Composite Stock
Hawkmoon (Exotic hand cannon)
Another week, another poor role for Hawkmoon fans. Feel free to give this week’s version of the famed hand cannon a skip, as the Hip-Fire Grip isn’t that great and is one of the least desired perks in buildcrafting.
- Paracausal Shot
- Full Bore
- Alloy Magazine
- Hip-Fire Grip
- Textured Grip
Dead Man’s Tale (Exotic scout rifle)
Dead Man’s Tale is also passable this week unless you really need a scout rifle for mowing down red-bar enemies, although there are better options out there. Subsistence is a decent perk for PvE as defeating targets will partially reload the weapon from reserves, but the rest of this roll is average at best.
- Cranial Spike
- Smallbore
- Armor-Piercing Rounds
- Subsistence
- Hand-Laid Stock

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
